Yksi entuudestaan tuttu kuvaaja, Antti Karppinen, kysyi josko haluaisin lähteä hänelle malliksi sellaiseen studiovalokuvaus demoon tapahtumaan Kuva ja Kamera messut. No tietysti! Olin samaisessa tapahtumassa ja samassa hommassa viime vuonna, tosin Karppinen sairastui ja kuvattiin sitten eri valokuvaajan kanssa. Tämmöiset meiningit on aina mahtavia, hyvää menoa ja ihmisiä ja kuvailua. Yay ♡

This one photographer I already know, Antti Karppinen, asked if I wanted to go as his model for this studio photography demo at a Photo and Camera fair event. Well of course! I was at the same event last year and doing the same thing, although Karppinen fell ill and so we did the photoshoot with another photographer. These kind of things are amazing, the happening and people and photography. Yay ♡

Pääsin vihdoin käyttämään ihanaista kettumekkoa, mikä on odotellut mekkokaapissa viime kesästä asti. Se on aivan ihana Taobao-kaupasta tilattu printtimekko, missä on kettuja!! Iiiih (°◡°♡)

Löysin tässä talvella myös ihan superlöydän 2€:lla tuollaisen täyspuuvillaisen röyhelö shaalin ja upean punaisen! Oli upeaa saada koordailla se tämän kanssa. Muutenkin punainen tuo lolitaan, eleganttiin tyyliin, sellaista pientä potkua. Punainen lolitassa on omaan silmään jotenkin erityisen upeaa. Tällä asulla siis mentiin messuilla lauantaina. 

Oli vähän hauska sattuma, mutta asu näyttää todella paljon satuhahmolta punahilkka! Tykkään! ♥

I finally got the opportunity to use this lovely fox dress, which has been hanging in my dress closet since last summer. It's absolutely adorable print dress with foxes from a Taobao store!! Iiiih (°◡°♡)

During winter I also made a super find for 2€, that full cotton frilly shawl and in amazing red color! Was amazeballs to coord it with this one. Always red brings to lolita, an elegant style, a little bit of a kick. In my eyes red in lolita is somehow especially gorgeous. This was my outfit for the fair on Saturday. 

It was a bit funny coincidence, but the outfit really looks like the fairytale character Red Riding Hood! Me likey ♥

Väleissä kun on luppoaikaa, niin on ihana käydä kiertämässä valokuvanäyttelyt. 

Erityisesti luontokuvista eläinkuvat ovat niin kauniita, jotkut vaan osaa napata sen hetken kuvaan. 

In between when I have time, it's so very lovely to stroll around the photo exhibits.

Especially from the nature photography the animals are so beautiful, some just can capture the moment.

Siellä oli myös Leica kamera -piste, missä sai otattaa itsestään kuvan ja minähän kyllä otatin! Ensin en edes tajunnut, että kamera printtaa kuvan heti, ajattelin että se on joku perus "ota tässä potretti itsestäsi" -paikka. Mesta minkä ständin pikkuvarastossa sain pitää mun romppeita, sano että mun tarvii käydä otattaan kuva ja oikeessa olivat, kyllä tarvitsi! Sain muistoksi ihan oikeat käsin kosketeltavat kuvat. (*°▽°*)

There was also a Leica camera stand, where one could go and had their picture taken and yes I did! First didn't even realize, that the camera prints the photo right away, just thought it's some basic "have your portrait taken here" -place. The stand that let me keep my stuff in their little storage room, said that I have to go and take a picture taken and yes, they were right, I had to! Got a real life photos to remember this. (*°▽°*)

Tämän nappasin joulun aikaan Angelic Prettyn alennusmyynnistä ja se on siitä asti roikkunut olohuoneen oven päältä, että voin ihastella sitä joka kerta, kun kuljen ohi. Kuolasin tätä printtiä jo aiemmin viime vuonna kun se julkaistiin, mutta uusiin brändimekkoihin ei ole varaa, mutta voi sitä tutinaa kun näinkin tämän olevan -40% alennuksessa! Se on nyt oikeasti minun, uusi Angelic Pretty mekko! Joku lolita virstanpylväs. Se on aikas spessua, koska tämä on mun toinen uutena ostettu japanilainen brändimekko. (❤◡❤)

We had a meetup while back with local lolitas and I got to take out my new dreamy kitty cat dress for the first time! I got this one during Christmas time from Angelic Pretty's sale and since then it has been hanging from the living room door, so that I can admire it every time passing by. I was drooling over this print already when it was released last year, but can't afford new brand dresses, but oh my the excitement when saw this in sale for -40%! It is really now mine, a new Angelic Pretty dress! Some lolita milestone. It's quite special, because this is my second Japanese brand dress bought as new. (❤◡❤)

Mekon nimi on Princess Cat ja se on vaaleanpunainen, mikä voisi olal täydellisempää?! ♡

Mä muistan kun joskus monta vuotta sitten sain syntymäpäiväkortin, missä oli kissan kuva, sillä oli prinsessakruunu ja kortti oli vaaleanpunainen ja siinä oli vielä kiiltäviä timangeja. Se oli täydellisyyttä just mulle. Ainiin synttäritkin on tulossa taas, muutaman päivän päästä olisi 30 vuotta täynnä. Argh! Ajattelin jos juhlistaisi isoilla teemasynttäreillä, mutta päätin että teenkin pienimuotoisesti jotain itselleni mukavaa. Itse juhlapäivänä olen kuvauksissa, mutta onneksi samalla viikolla on pääsiäisloma ja pääsee sitten tekemään jotain omaa kivaa. ♥

The dress is called Princess Cat and it's pink, what could be more perfect?! ♡

I remember some time many years ago when I got a birthday card, where was a picture of a cat who had a princess crown and the card was pink and it even had some sparkly diamonds. It was absolute perfectness for me. Oh yeah, my birthday is coming up again, in a few days will have 30 whole ones. Argh! Was thinking about celebrating with some big theme party, but instead decided to something small scale and do what I want just for me. On the actual day will be in a photoshoot, but luckily on the same week there's Easter holiday and can do some own fun. ♥

Asustelaatikosta ei löytynytkään juuri sopivaa mustapinkkiä päähinettä, joten päätin tehdä sellaisen. Halusin siihen prinsessaviboja tietenkin. Materiaaleina käytin vanhaa hiuspantaa, tukikangasta, vaaleanpunaista lakanaa, mustaa pitsiä, satiini- ja samettinauhaa, helmiä, lankaa ja neulaa, sekä tuollaisen muovisen timantti sydämen, joka on mun vanhasta ponnarista, kun olin 6-vuotias. Siitä tuli oikein ihana, tykkään hirmuisesti. Näitä tämmösiä asusteita on muutenkin kiva näperrellä. (*⌒―⌒*)

There wasn't any perfectly matching in my accessory drawer, so decided to make one. I wanted it to have princess vibes of course. As materials I used an old headband, buckram, pink sheet, black lace, satin and velvet lace, pearls, thread and needle, also that plastic diamond heart, which is from my hairband from when I was 6-years-old. It became very lovely, I like it a lot. Anyways enjoying doing these kind of accessories. (*⌒―⌒*)

Punaiset Kuoma talvisaappaat 💕 Red Kuoma winter boots

Moikka ihaniaset! 💗

Tiettekö kun asuu maassa, missä sääolot on vähän hankalat hienoille vaatteille, täytyy alkaa luovaksi! Sain hiljattain tuollaiset klassiset suomalaiset Kuoma talvisaappaat, punaiset sellaiset. Näitähän näkee paljon etenkin pienillä lapsilla talvikenkinä. Olen tällainen vilukissa ja palelen aina, etenkin varpaat ja sormet on aina jäässä, joten villasukista luovun vasta kun on oikeasti lämmin! Hihi~ Nämä ovat mukavan käytännölliset ja sinne mahtuu muhkeat villasukat. No mutta miksei niitä voisi käyttää kauniiden vaatteiden kanssa, tietenkin voi! ヽ(*⌒‿⌒*)ﾉ

You know when living in a country, that has a bit tricky weather conditions for fancy clothes, it's time to get creative! I recently got a kind of classic Finnish Kuoma winter boots, red ones. These are seen especially a lot on little children as winter shoes. They are also made in Finland. I'm a person who's always cold, especially my fingers and toes are always freezing, so I'm not giving up my woolen socks until it's actually warm! Hihi~ These are comfy and practical and can fit fluffy woolen socks. So why couldn't I wear them with pretty clothes, well of course I can! ヽ(*⌒‿⌒*)ﾉ

Mulla on uusi kissahame! Iiiih~ (≧◡≦) ♥ Se on niin söpö!! Hameen nimeä en tiedä, mutta se on japanilaisen Shirley Temple -merkin hame. Ulos mennessä tietenkin laitoin vähän kerroksia lisää, päälle tuli vielä musta neuletakki, musta lyhyt talvitakki ja tumput. Pysyy lämpöisenä, etenkin varpaat, ei kaadu liukkaalla kelillä ja voi silti käyttää söpöä huoliteltua asua. Ihanaa! ♡ Mulla tulee tästä jotenkin pienet otome -vibat, sen verran arkinen lolitaksi ja hameen alle ei vaan mahtunut kovin paljon puffua alle. Otome-lolita?

Put some more layers of course before heading out, there was a black cardigan, black short winter coat and mittens. Staying warm, especially the toes, won't fall with slippery roads and can still use a cute coordinated outfit. Wonderful! ♡ Somehow I get a little otome vibes from this, it's quite casual for lolita and couldn't fit loads of poofyness underneath the skirt. Otome-lolita?

Pakko esitellä mun uusi pieni hyllyasukki: BB-8 ♥

Nekalan Löytöliiterissä on loppuunmyynti ja kaikki -50%, nappasin siis lelupuolelta jotain pientä mukaan. Nyt se hengailee tuolla hyllyllä muiden hassujen otusten kanssa ja siihen on sellainen vetotikku, minkä kanssa BB-8 pitää ihan oikeanlaista ääntä. Voi kun se on suloista!

There's a closing sale at a huge store, that sells almost all sorts of stuff and they are having everything half off, so I got something for myself from the toy sections. Now it's hanging out with my other weird shelf creatures and it has this stick thingy and when using it, BB-8 makes authentic sounds. It's so darn adorable!

✨♡ Dressing up a friend in lolita ♡✨

Hello Darlings! ❤

Time to get back into blogging and end my little hiatus. Been concentrating on everyday life for a while, on myself and being with my lovely daughter. We've been playing games and been outdoors and had some lovely quality time. I've been thinking about all the things I want to share with you in my blog and gonna start with this~

💙 Kawaii fluffy pastel cuteness overload -day! Yay! 💙

I got this awsum friend, Agony von Grim, she usually wears black and a kind of a pastel / nu goth style and this time I dressed her up in lolita! We talked about it at some point and we agreed about her coming for a visit just for this. Of course considering her normal style, I wanted to dress her in sweet lolita style and as yummy cute cake -like. This was so much fun, like a more or less every lolita's secret dream to dress up others.

We actually had a blast and a super fun day! We should have recorded everything, because Agony's commentary was hilarious! Stuff like "This is what it must feel like being pregnant" x) I laid out some of my pink sweet lolita dresses before she arrived, so I could check which one would be perfect and  I decided on this cute frilly Angelic Pretty Colorful Sherbet JSK. Coordinated it with pink boots, pink top, pink ringlets and hair accessory. We said she was too sweet to get a diabetes from. Hihih~ Yup, we had fun and joked around all the time while we were dressed up! ^-^

Well of course we had some photoshooting fun out in the cold! We had to take evidence of this pastel poofyness and post them online. I think Agony von Grim looked so cute, she had the perfect level of attitude and crazyness to look like this was actually her thing. I'm gonna dress her up again some day, maybe in more gothic and actually go out into some public place, like the city center, because this time we just hanged around at my place.

Naturally I dressed up as well.. Last year I bought this second hand Unicorn Fantasy skirt by Pink Macaroon and haven't had the chance to wear it yet, so I put together something a bit casual and simple. I felt like a kind of sweet I haven't been in a long time, made me feel really good! Somewhat nostalgic as well, because this is the kind of style I used to wear more a few of years back. I have moved more towards classic style, not sure if it's an age thing or what, but I still love sweet lolita style and not giving it up! 💙

..I know my petticoat is peaking a bit, had some trouble with the the skirt length and pettis, but nah, it's not the end of the world :)

I gotta admit, that when I saw the skirt at some sales group in Facebook, I made the decision to buy it for my daughter..well to alter something out of it for her..but after I received, it was so cute and fit well and wasn't tight at all, I decided I want to wear it myself first. Well we discussed it with my babygirl and it was fine with her. She has a bunch of dresses herself, some princess ones, some lolita and some handmade by me. Like mother like daughter 💕

♡ Kawaii pink fluffy Christmas ♡

Murut, toivottavasti teillä on ollut ihana joulu! 💖

Me ollaan tytön ja kissojen kanssa oltu ihan kotosalla ja otettu rennosti. Tänään kolmatta päivää pulsu-pyjama-tyylillä ja miettinyt "Mitäs söisin seuraavaksi?". Meillä oli tässä kuussa tosi tiukkaa, kun tuli vielä vakuutuslaskukin kiusaamaan ja vie yhden kolmasosan meidän elämisrahasta, mutta on saatu vähän jeesiä ja kaapeissa on ihan oikeasti täytettä. Mahtavuutta! Ollut niin kiitollinen. Ollaan syöty masut täyteet, röhnötelty, katsottu telkkarista piirrettyjä ja perhe-elokuvia, välillä leikitty prinsessaleikkejä tytön kanssa. 

Halusin pukeutua tuossa joulun alla oikein söpösti karkki pinkki tyyliin, kun halusin piristystä tähän pimeään aikaan. Kaikki kaunis lumi lähti ja on ollut aikas ankeaa, mutta vaaleanpunainen ja söpöily on varma keino piristää päivää! ♡

We have been just at home taking it easy with my daughter and the cats. Today is the third day going with hobo-pajama-style and thinking "What should I eat next?". We've been having a bit of financially tight time this month, because got an insurance bill to bother and it takes one third of our living budget, but we got some help and the fridge is actually looking full. Amazing! Been super grateful. We've been eating our tummies full, relaxing, have watched cartoons and family movies from tv, played together with my girl and princess dolls. 

Right before Christamas I wanted to dress up real cute in candy like pink, because I wanted to cheer up in this dark time. All the beautiful snow is gone and it's been sort of grim, but pink and cuteness is a sure way to brighten up the day! ♡

Näin tämän takin kauan sitten Gothic Lolita Bible:n talvinumerossa 27, joka ilmestyi 2007. Tämä Angelic Pretty:n Melty Heart takki pinkkinä komeilee siinä lehden alkusivuilla koko sivun kokoisessa kuvassa. Sitä kovasti ihailin, koska se oli niin söpö, mutta en koskaan uskonut saavani sellaista. Mun oli tarkoitus ommella jotain tämäntapaista ihan itse. Otsikoin mun ompelukirjaan kaikki projektit, jokaiselle on oma sivu mihin tulee piirros vaatteesta ja suunnittelen kaavojen osat. Lolita takista on edelleen otsikko siellä "pinkki lolita -takki", mutta koskaan en saanut sitä aloitettua. Vuosia myöhemmin törmäsin tähän yahoo -huutokaupassa ja ei tarvitse ihmetellä nappasinko sen kotiin. Mulla on nykyään siis se samainen takki, mitä vuosia sitten ihannoin GLB-lehdessä. Vau! Ihan uskomatonta, mutta kyllä lolita unelmat voivat toteutua! 💝

I saw this coat long ago in Gothic Lolita Bible winter issua no 27, which was published in 2007. This Angelic Pretty Melty Heart Coat in pink is looking adorable in a full page picture in the early page of the magazine. I was admiring it a lot, because it is so cute, but believed I could never get one like that. I was supposed to sew something like this by myself. I write the titles all of my projects into my sewing book, all things have their own page where there's a picture of the garment and planning the pattern parts. The lolita coat title is still there "pink lolita -coat", but never got to actually start it. Years later I saw this in yahoo -auction and there's no wondering if I took it home or not. These days I have the exact same coat, of which I was admiring years ago in GLB magazine. Woah! So unbelievable, but yes, lolita dreams can come true! 💝

Meillä on ollut omannäköinen joulu, jokseenkin vaaleanpunainen. Ollaan tehty sellaisia herkkuruokia, mistä itse tykätään ja harvemmin syödään. Tyttärelle tein jauhelihakeittoa luomulihasta, koska yleensä en suostu tekemään liharuokia kotona. Ollaan leivottu gluteenittomia ja maidottomia pipareita ja koristeltu niitä, tehty gluteenittomia joulutorruja myös, mutta ne näyttää enemmän pyöreiltä kekseiltä ja glögiä pitää olla! Eilen katselin telkkarista illalla Hobitti trilogian ensimmäistä osaa ja söin ihan törkeen hyvää vege vadelma mousse herkkua kookoksella. Nomsnoms~ 

Mulla on yksi lahjakin tulossa tuolla postin kuljetuksessa, hehkutan siitä kunhan se saapuu! Äidiltä sain uuden tehokkaaman sauvasekoittimen. (⌒▽⌒)

We've has a Christmas that looks like us, somewhat pink. We have made the kind of yummy foods which we like and rarely eat. I made some minced meat soup for my daughter with organic meat, because I don't usually agree on making foods with meat at home. We've been baking gluten and milk free gingerbread cookies and decorated them, baked gluten free plum marmalade bites as well, but they look more like round cookies than what they originally are supposed to and there must be mulled wine! Yesterday evening I was watching The Hobbit trilogy's first part from tv and ate such delicious vegan raspberry mousse delight with coconut. Nomnoms~

I got even one present on the way somewhere with the post, gonna hype about it when it arrives! From my mom I got a new more powerful hand blender. (⌒▽⌒)
