Steampunk birdcage lady 

Aiemmin kerroinkin jo, että olin Animecon 2015 tapahtumassa promo hommissa steampunk ja fantasia kaupalle Bard & Jester. Nyt myös esittelyssä uusia goottimaisia vaatteita Fan plus Friend Garden kaupasta, kuten birdcage hame. Lauantain viktoriaanisen tyylinen steampunk asu löytyy klikkaamalla tästä ja nyt sunnuntain asu. On hauska nimetä asukokonaisuudet ja tälle onkin monta muunnelmaa, kuten Steamy Birdcage Lady.

Previously have told you, that was in Animecon 2015 event doing some promotional work for steampunk and fantasy store Bard & Jester. Now also introducing new gothic clothing from Fan plus Friend garden, like a birdcage skirt. Saturday's victorian gothic styled steampunk outfit can be found by clicking this and now it's turn for the Sunday's outfit. It's fun to name outfit coordinations and this one has many variations, like Steamy Birdcage Lady.

Alice Lolita ✿ Tracon 9 outfit

Ja sitten Traconin sunnuntain asua! Olikin oikein Fan plus Friend-viikonloppu, kun molempien päivien mekko sieltä. Tajusin että tämä Alice-lookki, mikä oli mulla kuvauksissa keväällä, on oikeastaan vähän niin kuin cossi, mutta silti lolita-asu, joten se oli just hyvä coniin. ^___^

Aamulla oli kauhea kiire, kun yöllä oli mennyt niin myöhään, että oli kauhea väsy ja olin tullut myös kipeäksi ja siihen päälle krapulaa ja migreeni. En päässyt aamuiseen lolita-miittiin, mikä vähän harmittaa, ja vielä nukahdin hetkeksi, kun sain vihdoin ja viimein migreenin helpottamaa. Havahduin ja tajusin että kello oli yli puolen päivän ja kauhealla kiireellä sitten laittautumaan. :P

And then sunday's outfit from Tracon! It was a real Fan plus Friend-weekend, when on both days had a dress from there. I realised that this Alice-look, which had for a photoshoot this spring, is actually kind of like a cosplay, but still a lolita-outfit, so it was just perfect for a convention. ^___^

In the morning was such a hurry, because the evening continued so long, that was terribly tired and had also gotten sick and then on top of that had a hangover and a migrane. Didn't manage to go to a morning lolita-meetup, which makes me feel bad, and I fell a sleep again, when finally got rid of the migrane. I woke up and realised that it was over midday and started to dress up in a terrible hurry. :P

Steampunk Lolita ✿ Tracon 9 outfit

Moi ihanaiset ♡

Tässä mun asua Traconista lauantailta. Päätin vetäistä steampunk tyylisen lolita-asun päälle ja vaikka nyt itse sanonkin, niin lopputulos oli oikein mieleinen (oon yleensä tosi tosi kriittinen itseäni kohtaan). ^___^
Tämä on enemmän viktoriaanisen tyylistä steampunkia ja hyvin hillittyä sellaista. Mun mielestä steampunk on lolitan alatyyli ja lolita steampunkin alatyyli, eli ne on sellainen sekoitus. Joskus vielä haluan tehdä sellaisen megaupean asun missä on paljon juuuri niitä höyryvempaimia ja härpäkkeitä!

Hi lovelies ♡

Here's my outfit from saturday's Tracon. Decided to put on a steampunk styled lolita-outfit and even though saying myself, the result was very pleasing (I'm usually really really critical about myself). ^___^

This is more like victorian styled steampunk and very low-key one. I think steampunk is a substyle of lolita and lolita is a substyle of steampunk, so they are a sort of mix. Some day I wanna do a mega gorgeus outfit with exactly those steamgadgets and thingies!

Päivä tuli hengattua paljolti Nitan kanssa ja räpsien kuvia, oltiin molemmat tuollaisia pää täynnä koristeita. >___<  hihih~
Illalla poikkesin kotona ja Nita hostellilla ja suunnattiin k-18 iltabileisiin, mitkä oli siis ihan normaalissa yökerhossa ja törmättiin siellä muihinkin tuttuihin. Aluks ei oikein inspannu, mutta humalatilan edetessä alkoi olemaan ihan hyvä meininki ja jäätiinkin niin pitkään, että tuli ihan nuoremmat ajat mieleen ja olis tehny mieli bilettää aamuun asti, mutta lähdetiin kuitenkin nukkumaan. Muut lähti silleen jo aiemmin, kun oltiin suhaamassa ja tultiin pöytään, nii tyypit vaan ilmottaa, että nyt lähdetään ja ei enää itse ehtinyt yöbussiin, niin piti jäädä tunniksi vielä hörhöilemään. No mut oli hauskaa! :D

Mostly spent the day with Nita and taking pictures, both of our heads were fiull of deorations. >___< hihih~
In the evening went home for a bit and Nita to her hostel and we headed for the age limit-after party, which was in a normal nightclub and met other friends there aswell. At the beginning wasn't really feeling it, but when the state of drunkness advanced had a good time and stayed for a long time, even started to feel like old times when was younger and would have wanted to party till the morning, but decided to go to sleep in the end. Others left already earlier, when we were somewhere and when we got to the table, they just announced, that they are leaving now and couldn't make it to my nightbus, so had to stay goof around for an hour more. Oh well, had fun! :D

Asusteet on aika sekalaisia ja rusetin tein mekon kaulanyöreistä. :)
Mulla on uudet piilarit geo coloured lenses:ilta ja ne on Holicat Cutie Brown, löydät ne täältä. Nää on aivan mahtavat, parhaimpia ruskeita piilareita mitä mulla on ollu, väri, tyyli ja suurennos on aivan loistavat. Koko päivän oli oikein mukava pitää näitä päässä. ^___^

The accessories are quite random and the bow I made fromt he dress's neck ties. :)
I have new circle lenses from geo coloured lenses and they are Holicat Cutie Brown, you can find them here. These are simply awesome, the best brown circle lenses I've had, the colour, the desing and enlargement are amazing. Was comfortable to wear them the whole day. ^___^

Alice in Wonderland photoshoot ♡ Fan plus Friend review

Moi murut ♡

Tänä vuonna on ollu vähän hiljaisempaa kuvausten suhteen, mutta asia on hyvinkin korjaantumassa ja on monet kuvaukset toteutettuna. Alkaa kuvasatoa tässä tiputteleen tännekin päin ja varmasti tulee pidemmän aikaa kaikenlasita. Toivottavasti tykkäätte, tyylejä ainakin löytyy monenlaista, ylläri. :P

Ensimmäisiä kuvauksia keväältä oli Liisa Ihmemaassa-teema toteutettuna uuden Fan plus Friend mekon kanssa.

Ensin oli suunnitteilla sellainen ryhmäkuvaus, jossa olisi omalaatuisia tyylejä edustaen tarinan eri hahmoja, mutta se sitten peruuntui monestakin syystä ja lissuilin sitten ihan itsekseni. ^___^

This year has been a bit more quiet with photoshoots, but that's being fixed and have quite many photoshoots behind me. Starting to drop the results here too and I'm sure there will be all kinds of stuff for a while. Hope you like, at least there's lots of different styles, suprise. :P

First shoots from this spring was Alice in Wonderland-theme done together with my new Fan plus Friend dress.

First we had planned a type of group photoshoot, where there would be their own styled versions of the storie's characters, but then it got canceled for many reasons and was alicing all by myself. ^___^

Mekko on hyvin klassinen Liisamainen ja sellaisen halusinkin, vaaleansinisen ja tykkään yläosan muodosta. Fanplusfriendillä on myös muitakin Alice-vaatteita ja asusteita.

Mekko on aika pitkä ja piti siihen lainata pidempää alushametta, kun omat ovat enemmän sweettari-pituisia. Materiaali on jännää hieman mokkamaista ja samettisen pehmeää. Yksinkertaisuudessaan hyvin nätti, ihanilla yksityiskohdilla. :)


The dress is very classic Alice-styled and exactly what I wanted, a light blue and I like the shape of the top.
Fanplusfriend has also other Alice-clothing and accessoreis.

The Dress is quite long and had to borrow a petticoat, because my own are more sweet-length. The material is something a bit suede-ish and velvety soft. In it's own simplyness very pretty, with lovely details. :)

Meikkasin menomatkalla junassa Helsinkiin, on muuten ensimmäinen kerta kun liimaan tekoripsiä junassa. x)
Kun pääsin perille, kävin kuvaajan luona vaihtamassa vaatteet (sain tavata hänen ihanat kisut) ja suuntasimme kuvauspaikalle, missä kaksi ihanaa neitoa oli laittanut aivan upeat rekvisiitat! Tiesin että siellä on jotain, mutta en odottanut jotain näin mahtavaa. ♡
Olin kuin malliprinsessa, minulle laitettiin kaikki valmiiksi, annettiin käteen tavaroita, siistittiin asua ja muut suunnittelivat missä kohtaan mua laittaa. En ole koskaan ollut tällä lailla kuvauksissa ja oli todella ihana kokemus. ♡
Kuvausten jälkeen suuntasin vielä ensimmäistä kertaa Ounceen ja tapaamaan muita lolitoja.

I did my makeup on the train on my way to Helsinki, it's btw the first time when gluing false lashes on a train. x)
When I got there, went to change clothes at the photographer's home (got to meet her lovely cats) and we headed to the photoshoot location, where two lovely ladies had made this amazing setup! I knew there was gonna be something, but didn't expect something so gorgeus. ♡
I was like a modelprincess, everything was made ready for me, gave items to my hands, straightened my outfit and others were planning where to put me. I've never been in a photoshoot this way and it was really a lovely experience. ♡
After the photoshoot I headed to Ounce for the first time and to meet other lolitas.

Piti vielä tyyliuskollisena sekoittaa lolitaa, sekä steampunkia ja tämän kaiken teki mahdolliseksi Fan + Friend! Steampunk-lolita-vaatteita ei ole ihan jokaisessa putiikkissa valmiina, joten f+f oli oikein oiva löytö tähän projektiin. ^__^ Tässä mun tuote- ja kauppa-arvostelua, sekä jokunen parhaista otoksista kuvauksista.

Now here's finally some good pictures of my latest style genre, which I've gotten very excited and started to try it out little by little, I'm talking about Steampunk. You can see behind the scenes material from the shoot here. As a person faitful to my style, had to mix lolita with steampunk and all this was made possible by Fan + Friend! Mekko  -  The Dress

Tämä on ensimmäinen tilaukseni Fan plus Friendiltä ja olen hyvin tyytyväinen mekkoon. Mekon yläosassa on vuoritus ja alaosassa on kaksi kerrosta, raidallinen kangas on mukavan kevyttä ja päälykangas hieman tukevampaa. Olkaimet ja kaulanauhat on irroitettavissa, mikä tekee mekosta hyvin monikäyttöisen (tästä mulla onkin jo toinen asuidea). Takana kiristysnauhat ja yksityiskohtina hienot keinonahkaremmit ja pitsireunus.

This is my first order from Fan plus Friend and I'm very pleased with the dress. The top part has a lining and the skirt part has two layers, the striped fabric is nice and light and the outer fabric is a little bit more thick. Shoulder straps and the neck ties are detachable, which makes the dress quite versatile (I have another outfit idea about this). There's lacing in the back for adjusting and as pretty details faux leather straps and lace trim.

Minihattu ja rintaneula  -  Mini hat and brooch

Minihattu on samasta kokoelmasta ja mun mielestä se täydentää asua tosi kivasti. Hatussa on aikas järeät kaksi kampaa kiinnitystä varten. Ensin ajattelin niiden olevan vähän turhankin isot, mutta hatun saa niillä tosi hyvin kiinnitettyä ja ei tarvitse huolehtia, että tipahtaa kesken menon päästä. Kammat käännetään pystyyn päätä kohti ja niillä vähän kuin haukataan hampaiden väliin tukkaa. Hattua on muuten helppo kuljettaa, koska se on pehmeä ja saa litistettyä hyvin laukkuun. Rintaneula tulee mekon kanssa ja on tosi kiva, sillä voi koristaa vaikka hattua, laukkua tai kiinnittää ihan mihin huvittaa. ^__^

The mini hat is from the same collection and I think it compliments the outfit really nicely. The hat has quite sturdy combs for attachment. First I thought they were a bit too much, but with them the has gets attached really well and don't have to worry about, that it falls off in the middle of everything. The combs are turned towards the head and with them sort of like biting some hair between the teeth. The hat by teh ways is easily packed, because it's soft and can be flatten. The brooch comes with the dress and it's really nice, you can use it to decorate a hat, bag or attach it anywhere you like. ^__^

Postitus on mahdollista vain pikalähetyksenä, mikä on hieman hintavampaa, mutta varmistaa, että tuote tulee varmasti turvallisesti perille. Tilaamisesta paketti oli kotona noin viikossa, eikä jäänyt tulliin.

The shipping is only available as express, which is a bit more pricy, but to make sure the item is sure to arrive safely. After ordering, the package was received in about a week and didn't get stuck in customs.

Laatu  -  Quality

Laatu on oikein hyvä ja ommeljälki siistiä, kaikinpuolin hyvälaatuinen mekko ja hattu. Laatumärittelyssä, että mun kirjoissa pääsee täyteen viiteen, pitää olla jo tooooosi hyvä ja jotain spessua extraa.

The quality is very good and the sewing done well,  all round a good quality dress and hat. When defining quality and to get to five stars(hearts) in my books, it has to be reeeaaally good and have something special extra.

Ihastuin tähän paikkaa ihan kokonaan! Kauppa on selkeä ja helposti selattavissa, puhumattakaan valikoiman laajuudesta, jokaiselle löytyy varmasti jotain ja hinnat ei ole ollenkaan mahdottomia. Tuotteiden tiedot ja mitat löytyvät todella hyvin ja ihan se, että vaatteita saa useassa koossa ja mittatilauksena, on mahtavaa!

I was completely delighted by the store! The store is clear and easily browsed, not to mention the variety to choose from, I'm sure everyone finds something and the prices are not impossible. Information about products and measurements are well shown, also thta the clothes are available in different sizes and custom sizes is awesome!

ps..kuten huomaatte, oon ruvennu opetteleen vähän kuvien käsittelyä, helpottaa touhua ja ihan mukavaa touhua, kunhan jossain onnistuu..meinaa vaan viedä ihan liikaa aikaa! :P Varmaan touhustan vielä pari kuvaa johonkin sosiaaliseen mediaan. Edelleenkin on tietokoneongelmia ja puhelinkin tuli tänään huollosta, joten vähän vielä tökkii ja jumittaa normaalitahtinen päivittely.

ps..as you can see, I've started to learn a bit of picture editing/post processing, it makes things easier and it's also kind of nice, once I manage to do something..it tends to take way too much time though! :P Propably will do a couple of pictures more for some social media. Still having computer problems and phone came from repairs today, so for a little while the normal posting pace will be dragging and delaying.
