Yksi entuudestaan tuttu kuvaaja, Antti Karppinen, kysyi josko haluaisin lähteä hänelle malliksi sellaiseen studiovalokuvaus demoon tapahtumaan Kuva ja Kamera messut. No tietysti! Olin samaisessa tapahtumassa ja samassa hommassa viime vuonna, tosin Karppinen sairastui ja kuvattiin sitten eri valokuvaajan kanssa. Tämmöiset meiningit on aina mahtavia, hyvää menoa ja ihmisiä ja kuvailua. Yay ♡

This one photographer I already know, Antti Karppinen, asked if I wanted to go as his model for this studio photography demo at a Photo and Camera fair event. Well of course! I was at the same event last year and doing the same thing, although Karppinen fell ill and so we did the photoshoot with another photographer. These kind of things are amazing, the happening and people and photography. Yay ♡

Pääsin vihdoin käyttämään ihanaista kettumekkoa, mikä on odotellut mekkokaapissa viime kesästä asti. Se on aivan ihana Taobao-kaupasta tilattu printtimekko, missä on kettuja!! Iiiih (°◡°♡)

Löysin tässä talvella myös ihan superlöydän 2€:lla tuollaisen täyspuuvillaisen röyhelö shaalin ja upean punaisen! Oli upeaa saada koordailla se tämän kanssa. Muutenkin punainen tuo lolitaan, eleganttiin tyyliin, sellaista pientä potkua. Punainen lolitassa on omaan silmään jotenkin erityisen upeaa. Tällä asulla siis mentiin messuilla lauantaina. 

Oli vähän hauska sattuma, mutta asu näyttää todella paljon satuhahmolta punahilkka! Tykkään! ♥

I finally got the opportunity to use this lovely fox dress, which has been hanging in my dress closet since last summer. It's absolutely adorable print dress with foxes from a Taobao store!! Iiiih (°◡°♡)

During winter I also made a super find for 2€, that full cotton frilly shawl and in amazing red color! Was amazeballs to coord it with this one. Always red brings to lolita, an elegant style, a little bit of a kick. In my eyes red in lolita is somehow especially gorgeous. This was my outfit for the fair on Saturday. 

It was a bit funny coincidence, but the outfit really looks like the fairytale character Red Riding Hood! Me likey ♥

Väleissä kun on luppoaikaa, niin on ihana käydä kiertämässä valokuvanäyttelyt. 

Erityisesti luontokuvista eläinkuvat ovat niin kauniita, jotkut vaan osaa napata sen hetken kuvaan. 

In between when I have time, it's so very lovely to stroll around the photo exhibits.

Especially from the nature photography the animals are so beautiful, some just can capture the moment.

Siellä oli myös Leica kamera -piste, missä sai otattaa itsestään kuvan ja minähän kyllä otatin! Ensin en edes tajunnut, että kamera printtaa kuvan heti, ajattelin että se on joku perus "ota tässä potretti itsestäsi" -paikka. Mesta minkä ständin pikkuvarastossa sain pitää mun romppeita, sano että mun tarvii käydä otattaan kuva ja oikeessa olivat, kyllä tarvitsi! Sain muistoksi ihan oikeat käsin kosketeltavat kuvat. (*°▽°*)

There was also a Leica camera stand, where one could go and had their picture taken and yes I did! First didn't even realize, that the camera prints the photo right away, just thought it's some basic "have your portrait taken here" -place. The stand that let me keep my stuff in their little storage room, said that I have to go and take a picture taken and yes, they were right, I had to! Got a real life photos to remember this. (*°▽°*)

♡ Turning charity shop curtains into a dress ♡

Löysin tässä viimeisimpien UFF alepäivien aikaan kodin tekstiileistä tällaiset ihanat verhot ja ihastuin heti kuvioon, joten kotiinhan ne nappasin. Olin kerran aiemmin jo nähnyt samanlaisen verhon, missä oli eri kuvio, mutta niitä oli vain yksi ja harmitti hieman ettei kangasta ollut tarpeeksi mekkoa varten. No nyt oli! o(≧▽≦)o

Hi dearies ♡

I found these lovely curtains from a home textile section at charity shop UFF's recent sale and instantly fell in love with the pattern, so they came home with me. I had once already seen a same type of curtain, which had a different pattern, but there was only one and was too bad there wasn't enough for a dress. Well now there was! o(≧▽≦)o

Ideana mulla oli tehdä sellainen hyvin yksinkertainen mekko, missä olisi tuo kuvio-osa helmassa. Kangas on hyvin paksua, lämmintä ja painavaa, joten selvästi kylmän ajan mekko. Mekon toteutuksessa tuli vastaan joitakin ongelmia, sillä kuvio olikin pidempi, mitä aluksi ajattelin ja mekosta tuli hyvin pitkä. Aluksi suunnittelin laskoksia, mutta kuvio olisi mennyt hieman piiloon, joten tilalle tuli perus rypytys. Vyötärörypytys on hyvin muhkea ja täytyykin hieman kokeilla minkälainen alushame jaksaa kantaa tuon hameosan painon hyvin ja pitää muodon, ehkäpä pitkä a-linjainen tyllihame.

Inspiraationa kokonaisuuteen toimi renessanssi tyyli, linnanneitomaisuus, mori ja muutenkin luonnollisuus. Helman kuviota tasapainottamaan kirjoin pienen kuvion tuohon rintamukseen ja myös kaveriksi syntyneen french hood tyylisen päähineen reunaan. Tämä on kolmas kerta kun kirjon ylipäänsä, joten jälki on vähän sen mukainen, mutta harjoitusta harjoitusta! Kirjominen on mielenkiintoista, joten sitä olisi ihana oppia paremmin. ♥

I had an idea to make this very simple dress, which would have the pattern part at the hemline. The fabric is very thick, warm and heavy, so clearly a cold season dress. There was some issues that came along in the process, because the pattern was longer than I first thought and the dress became very long. At first I was planning to do pleats, but the pattern would have been ruined, so instead there is a basic gathers. The gathered waist is very bulky and I have to try which type of petticoat can carry well the weight of the skirt and keep the shape, perhaps a long a-line petticoat. 

As the inspiration for this whole thing was renaissance style, castle maiden, mori and anyways naturality. To balance the pattern of the skirt I did a little embroidery to the chest and also to the edge of the headpiece I made to accompany the dress. This is my third time doing embroidery, so it kind of looks like it, but practice practice! Embroidery is very intriguing, so would be great to learn it better. ♥

The wig is a straight blonde wig with bangs and a side parting. It's absolutely wonderful! It reminds me of my own hair when I was a teenager, although I grew out my bangs when I was 14-years-old. 🌸 Women's day - Casual classic lolita 👒

Moi murut 💕

Juhlistelin naistenpäivää pienellä visiitiillä keskustaan ja vähän laittautumalla nätiksi. Naistenpäivähän tarkoittaa muutakin, kuin suklaan ja kukkien saamista sekä edustaa hyvin tärkeitä asioita. Mun elämässä se näkyy siten, että haluan kaiken kotitouhun vastapainoksi olla myös omanlaiseni nainen, en pelkästään kotiäiti. Äitiyteen hukkumisen sijaan haluan pitää kiinni myös omasta itsestäni yksilönä. Se on ollut mulle aina hyvin tärkeää. Vaikka äiteys on oikeastaan naisena se hyvin naisellinen asia, mutta sen ei tarvitse määrittää itseänsä. Äiteys on hyvin stereotypinen ja vaativa rooli, on ollut jo hyvin kauan. Äiti nähdään määrätynlaisena ihmisenä, jolla on epäinhimillinen lista kriteerejä täytettäväksi. On todella ihanaa kuinka nykyään tässä asiassa on paljon vapautta ja erilaisuus on luonut itselleen tilaa. Itse haluan antaa rakkaalle tyttärelleni mahdollisuuden kasvaa sellaiseksi ihmiseksi ja naiseksi, kuin hän itse haluaa. Opettaa kunnioitusta kaikkea ympäröivää kohtaan ja yrittää parhaani mukaan olla hyvänä esimerkkinä, mikä on aikamoinen potku itselle kasvaa jatkuvasti ihmisenä. Pitämällä kiinni omista jutuistani, haluan myös näyttää esimerkkiä terveestä itsekkyydestä. 💖 Okei meni vähän sivuraiteille tästä naistenpäivästä, mutta tuli höpinäplörinäasiaa päästä, koittakaa jaksaa mua ja mun höpinöitä. (≧▽≦)

I celebrated international women's day with a little visit to the city center and dressing up a bit. Women's day means much more than only getting chocolate and flowers, it also represents some very important matters. In my life the way it shows is how I want to balance all home stuff by being my own kind of woman, not just a home mom. Instead of drowning in to motherhood I want to also hold on to myself as an individual. It's always been very important to me. Even though motherhood is actually a very woman-like thing as a woman, but it doesn't have to define oneself. Motherhood is a very stereotypical and demanding role, has been for a very long time. Mother is seen as a certain kind of person, who has an inhuman list of criteria to fill. It's really lovely how these days in this matter there is more freedom and dissimilarity and diversity have made room for their selves. In my part I want to give my beloved daughter a chance to grow up to the kind of person and a woman, that she wants to be. Teach respect to all things around us and try my best to be a good example, which is quite a kick to oneself constantly grow as a human being. 💖 Okies this went a little sidetracked from the women's day, but I got a this flow from my head, try to bare with me and my blabbering. (≧▽≦)

Olen tosi tyytyväinen tähän lookkiin, juuri täydellinen tuona päivänä. Oli hirmuisen kylmä viima ja piti pukeutua lämpöisesti, joten samettimekko on aina hyvä valinta. Kaiken päälle vielä vintage karvatakki, villasukat ja uudet Liz Lisa talvikengät, niin kyllä tarkenee. Söin lounaaksi ison palan kakkua ja pari kupposta kahvia, joten mukavan väljä mekko oli täydellinen.

I'm very happy with this look, just perfect on that day. There was a horribly cold wind and had to dress up warmly, so a velvet dress is always a good choice. On top of everything a fluffy vintage coat, woolen socks and new Liz Lisa winter shoes, should be warm enough. For lunch I ate a chunky piece of cake and couple cups of coffee, so a comfy loose dress was perfect.

Kävin siis kakkukahvilla ja höpisemässä kuvausprojektista, minkä jälkeen suuntasin Sokoksen Kutsu Kauneuteen-tapahtumaan. Menin sillä ajatuksella, että en varsinaisesti tarvitse uusia meikkejä, mutta jos nyt hieman jotain kivaa nappaisin. Mulla oli hyödynnettävänä sellainen -20% kauneuspassi, millä sai kolmesta tuotteesta mainitun alennuksen. No matkaan lähti sitten kauan himoittu Urban Decay Full Spectrum paletti. Se saa luvan olla oman naiseuteni hemmottelu ja tulevan syntymäpäivän itsensä lahjomis lahja. Täytyyhän sitä nyt saada vähän sateenkaarivärejä millä maalailla nassua! So I went to have coffee and cake and to talk about a photoshoot project, after which I headed to Sokos Kutsu Kauneuteen -event (=call to beauty). I went with a thought in my head, that I don't actually need any new makeup, but perhaps could get a little something nice. I had this exploitable -20% coupon, that gave me the opportunity to get the discount from three items. Well I took home a long wanted Urban Decay Full Spectrum palette. It will have to do as my treat to womanhood and my  upcoming birthday's present for myself. Well I just have to have some rainbow colors to paint my face with! Also some Nyx makeup found their way home with me. Mmm..lovelyness! Feels nice to get some proper makeup.

⚘ Vintage dreams ⚘

Ihanaa uutta vuotta! ♡

Vuonna 2016 on ollut kaikenlaista ihanaa ja upeaa, mutta mukaan on mahtunut myös paljon huonoja fiiliksiä. Hyvien ja positiivisten asioiden muistelu ja huomioiminen kuitenkin lämmittää sydäntä. Pakko vähän hehkuttaa sitä kuinka olen yrittänyt olla positiivisempi, nähdä niitä hyviä pieniä asioita ja nauttia niistä. Tämä muutos ei tietenkään tapahdu kokonaan yhdessä yössä, mutta olen aikas ylpeä itsestäni, kun olen yrittänyt ja se on ihan oikeasti kannattanut! On aikoja jolloin joku asia rikkoo kaiken ja minä romahdan siihen syvään masennuksen ja ahdistuksen kuoppaan. Olen yrittänyt olla korostamatta pahoja asioita tai huolia. Yrittänyt luottaa siihen, että universumi kyllä pitää musta huolta ja jättää pois juttuja tästä yliajattelevasta päästä, jos ne on turhia tai en voi tehdä niille asioille mitään. Olen voinut huomattavasti paremmin ja ollut oikeastaan onnellisempi, on ollut aikoja jolloin yleensä valitan jostain tai murehdin asioista koko ajan päässä, mutta sen sijaan nyt ollut rennompi ja nauttinut hetkistä. Uskomatonta kuinka niin vähän voi muuttaa niin paljon. Aion yrittää pitää tätä yllä ja kouluttaa mun aivoja keskittymään positiiviseen ja löytämään kivoja asioita jokaisessa tilanteessa ja vaikka murheidenkin keskellä. Se ei ole ollenkaan helppoa aina, mutta elämä olisi näin niin paljon nautittavampaa ja haluan olla esimerkkinä mun tyttärelle. 💓

Lovely new year! ♡

There has been all sorts of awesome and wonderful stuff during 2016, but there has been some bad vibes as well. Remembering the good and positive things warms my hearth though. Gotta hype this a little bit how I have been trying to be more positive, see the good little things and enjoy them. This change doesn't happen completely overnight of course, but I'm quite proud of myself for trying this much and it has actually paid off! There are times when something breaks everything and I'm falling into that deep hole of depression and anxiety. I've tried not to highlight the bad stuff and worries. I have been trying to trust the universe taking care of me. Have definitely been feeling much better and have actually been happier, there has been time when I usually complain about something or constantly worry about things in my mind, but instead of that have been more relaxed and enjoyed the moment. How incredible that this little can change so much. I'm going to try and keep this up and train my brain to to focus on the positive and to find nice things in every situation and even in the middle of troubles. It is not always easy at all, but life would be so much more enjoyable like this and I want to set an example for my daughter. 💓

Sparkling eyes see the magic everywhere 🌟

Käytiin Jaakkon kanssa kuvailemassa vähän talvifiiliksiä ja puskakuvia. Jaakko on nyt viime vuoden aikana alkanu tekeen paljon tämmöisiä ihania lähikuvia luonnon kanssa. Tykkään kovin tästä unenomaisesta ja herkästä tunnelmasta. Lähdin tällaisella vintage-tyylillä ja luonnonläheisillä väreillä. Oli kerrankin muuten mahtavaa ulkokuvauksissa talvella, missä en palelluta itseäni. Wohoo!

Mulla on mun äidin serkun vanha lampaannahka takki, se on muuten ihanan lämmin ja tuo huppu on paras. Kutsuin tätä teininä nallekarhu takiksi. Kelputaan tämän eläinjäännöksen, koska se on vintage kipale jostain ehkä 70-luvulta. Hame on vintage kirpparilöytä by Kaisu Heikkilä Oy ja alushame random vintagelöytö. Saappaat on ihan parhaita kirpparilöytöjä, ne on mulle kokoa liian isot, joten sinne mahtuu villasukat alle ja minä pieni vilukissa tarvitsen melkein ympäri vuoden ne villasukat.  

We went to photoshoot some winter vibe and in the bushes -photos with Jaakko. He has been doing a lot these kind of closeup pictures with nature during the past year. I really like this dream-like and sensitive feeling. I went with this vintage -style and toned down colors. For once it was really awesome to be at an outdoor photoshoot during winter and not freeze myself. Wohoo!

I'm wearing my mom's cousin's old sheepskin coat, it's btw lovely and really warm and that hood is the best. As a teenager I used to call this teddy bear coat. I accept this animal remain, because it's a vintage piece perhaps from somewhere around 70's. The skirt is a Finnish vintage flee market find by Kaisu Heikkilä Oy and the underskirt is some random thrifted vintage find. The boots are one of the best fleemarket finds, they are a size too big, so I can fit woolen socks underneath and someone as always cold as me needs woolen socks almost throughout the year.

Moikka söpöläiset ♥

Meillä oli paikallisten lolitojen kanssa ihana joulumiitti. Täällä on ollut vähän aikaa hiljaisempaa miittien ja niihin osallistujien puolesta, mutta nyt oli monen monta röyhelöpyllyä paikalla ja tuli tosi hyvät vibat. Toivottavasti saadaan taas Tampereelle elämää lolita yhteisöön ja hyvä vanha fiilis takaisin. Alku ja ihmisten innostus näyttää ainakin lupaavalta! 💝

Meillä oli todella nätti talvipäivä juuri tuolloin ja aivan ihana keli, saatiin talvisia asukuvia kauniissa lumisessa ympäristössä ja oli jopa hieman valoa. Se sellainen hassu ilmiö, mikä käy joskus aina moikkailemassa näin talvisaikaan. ｡ﾟ( ﾟ^∀^ﾟ)ﾟ｡

We had a lovely Christmas meetup with our local lolitas. It's been a bit quieter with meetups and with the people attending here, but now there were so many ruffly people present and got some really good vibes. Hopefully we can get some new sparkle and life into Tampere's lolita community and good old vibes back. The start and people's enthusiasm looks promising at least! 💝

We happened to had a really pretty winter day and the weather was lovely, we got winter style outfit pictures in a beautiful environment surrounded by snow and there was even some light. The kind of funny phenomenon, which comes to say hi sometimes during winter. ｡ﾟ( ﾟ^∀^ﾟ)ﾟ｡

Tykkäsin mun asusta tosi paljon! No tietty koska päällä oli mun upea Innocent World mekko, mikä on tällä hetkellä ainoa japanilainen brändimekko, minkä olen ostanut uutena. Mallin nimi on Printed Rose Gobelin Corset JSK. Saan siitä aina elegantin ja kuninkaallisen olon. Halusin olla jouluisen punainen, harvoin joulumiitissä olen oikeasti pukeutunut punaiseen, joten nyt sitten tuumasta toimeen! Kokonaisuus on yksinkertainen ja hillitty eleganssi kiehtoo mua nyt ja se on näkynyt myös asuissa. Vähemmän koruja ja asusteita. 

Mulla tuli muhkea peruukkilähetys kaksi päivää aiemmin ennen miittiä, jänskätin kovasti ehtiikö paketti ennen viikonloppua ja se ehti! Yay! Mulla on päällä Gothic Lolita Wigs:in Bijou peruukki blond mix:inä ja olen tätä kyseistä peruukkia tarkkailut jo kauan, että milloin se on saatavilla. Se on kauniin luonnollinen, silti suloinen ja niin pörröinen! Noiden rusettien kanssa saan hirmuiset Candy Candy nostalgiat! ♥

I really liked my outfit a lot! Well of course when I'm wearing my gorgeous Innocent World dress, which currently is my only Japanese brand dress I have bought as new. The design name is Printed Rose Gobelin Corset JSK. It always makes me feel elegant and royal. I wanted to be Chrsitmassy red, rarely in a Christmas meetup have actually worn red, so now was the time! The coordination is simple and toned down elegance is now something that intrigues me and it shows in my looks as well. Less jewelry and accessories. 

I received a largish package of wigs two days before the meetup, was nervous if it would make it all the way to me before the weekend and it did! Yay! I'm wearing Bijou wig in blonde mix from Gothic Lolita Wigs and have kept my eye on this particular one for a long time, waiting for it to be available. It's so beautifully natural, yet still cute and so fluffy! With those bows I'm getting major Candy Candy nostalgia! ♥ 

Mun uusimmat silmälasit mätsäs ihan täydellisesti tän lolita asun kanssa! Täysin samaa väriä! Wau ♡

Kumpi on teidän mielestä parempi: Laseilla vai Ilman? Menin miittiin enemmän söpön tyylisenä ilman laseja, mutta sitten laitoin ne jossain kohtaa päähän ja ne jäi. On se kyllä ihan kiva nähdä maailma tarkasti silleen teräväpiirtona välillä. Muutenhan en käytä laseja päivittäin, mutta silleen joskus. Näen ilman ihan hyvin, mutta vähääkään kauemmas ei ihan tarkenna. Olispa hauska, jos olis varaa ostaa vaikka edullisia laseja muutamassa värissä, niin vois aina mätsätä ne asun sävymaailman kanssa. (*⌒―⌒*)

Which do you think looks better: With or Without? I went to the meetup with more cute looking and without them, but then put the glasses on at some point and left them there. It's rather nice to see the world clearly in high definition once in a while. Otherwise I don't wear glasses on daily bases, but sometimes. I can see just fine without them, but can't focus my vision when looking a bit further. It would be so much fun if I had the funds to buy some affordable glasses in different colors, so could always match them with my color theme. (*⌒―⌒*)

Meillä on tullut jo vuosittainen perinne pitää joulumiitti Tallipihalla. Siellä on tähän vuodenaikaan todella ihana tunnelma ja saadaan varattua meille oma kabinetti kahvilasta. Herkuteltiin, tehtiin lahjavaihtarit (sain ihanat pörrösukat ja meikkisienen) ja sen jälkeen käytiin kiertämässä puodit. Ostin herkullisen piparkakku toffee pussin, nomnoms~ Rapsutin myös lampaita ja lässytin siellä niin kuin aina ihanien elukoiden keskuudessa. Käytiin vielä sen jälkeen kiertämässä Stockmannin jouluosasto, missä oli moni tavara tosi vähissä. Siellä on aina upeimmat koristeet. Kävin siellä tyttären kanssa silloin kun ne laittoivat niitä hyllyihin ja pöydille, mutta oman katselu ja hipeltelyrauhan puuttuessa, ajattelin tulla myöhemmin ja no, empä sitten ostanut niitä mitä piti. Onneksi on ebay päähärpäkkeiden ja askartelujuttujen hankkimiseen! ♡

It's has become an annual tradition to held our Christmas meetup at Tallipiha. During this time of the year there's a lovely atmosphere and we can book a cabinet of our own from the cafe. We had noms, made secret santa gift exchange (got a pair of lovely fluffy socks and a makeup sponge) and after that we went to see the shops. I bought a yummy bag of gingerbread taffy, nomnoms~ I also got to pet some sheep and baby talk like I always do when in the presence of cute creatures. Afterwards we also went to see the Christmas department at Stockmann, where things had been selling well. They always have the most gorgeous decorations. I went there with my daughter when they were still placing the items on the shelves and tables, but having no time to concentrate and try the stuff, thought I'd come again later and oh well, couldn't get what I was supposed. Luckily ebay is a good place to get headpieces and crafting stuff! ♡
