Mulla oli mahtavan kaunis korkeavyötäröinen korsettihame, näytekappale Long Ears and Sharp Ears' Studio:lta minkä kanssa pääsin kuvailemaan. It was a beautiful sunny day and what does a darkling soul think about, going for a walk to an old cemetery and to take pictures!

It was the end of the summer and didn't have to dig up woolen socks yet. I had a magnificently beautiful high waist corset skirt, a sample piece from Long Ears and Sharp Ears' Studio and I got to photoshoot with it. The photos even made it to their web store as official product photos! Iiiih ♥ So amazing! The same series has been modeled by Misako Aoki, especially for social media. Me and Misako have been modeling for clothing of the same series!! Unbelievable. (*≧∀≦*)

Hame on kerrassaan suurenmoinen ilmestys! Rakastan tuollaisia kiehkuraisia kuviokankaita ja vielä sifonkia kaveriksi, sekä korsetti! Oijjoi! Olen ihan myyty. Välittömät gootti eleganssi vibat. ♥

The skirt is absolutely gorgeous vision! I love that kind of twirly pattern fabrics and there's even chiffon to go with it and a corset! Ooooh! I'm sold. I got instant gothic elegance vibes. ♥

Kävin kiertelemässä sellaista pientä vanhaa hautausmaata, minkä ohi kuljin bussilla kuusi vuotta, enkä koskaan saanut aikaiseksi käytyä. Se jäi tuonne mielen sopukoihin ja nyt halusin vierailla. Vanhoilla hautuausmailla on sellainen tunne, kuin aika olisi pysähtynyt. Siellä vallitsee raukeus ja mystinen taianomaisuus ilmassa. Tunnen oloni hyvin seesteiseksi aina hautausmailla. Katselen aina syntymä- ja kuolinaikoja, ihastelen hautakiviä ja ristejä, sekä mietin minkälaisia ihmisiä he ovat olleet, minkälainen perhe ja muu elämä heillä on mahtanut olla. Olen aina ollut kiinnostunut historiasta ja kaikki vanhat esineet ja paikat saavat tuon historiantutkijaksi unelmoivan mielen innostumaan. Uppoutuessani ihannoimaan vanhoja asioita, päädyn sellaiseen unenomaiseen kuplaan, missä kaikki on sumuista, hiljaisempaa ja muu elämä vain menee ohitse. Voin tällöin liikuttua kyyneliin asti, kuten viime vuonna Lontoossa oli itkussa pidättelemistä, kun pääsin British Museum:in muinaisen Egyptin näyttelyyn. Vieläkin tulee tippa linssiin sitä ajatellessa, se oli uskomattoman vaikuttava kokemus. Olen niin kiitollinen, että sain sen kokea! ♥

I went strolling around to a small old cemetery, which I had passed by on a bus for six years, but never got it out of myself to visit. It kind of left a mark on my mind and now I wanted to go. Old graveyards have this feeling, like time has stopped. In the air one can feel the serenity and mystical magic. I always feel very calm when I'm at a cemetery. I look at the dates of birth and death, admire the tombstones and crosses, also wondering what kind of people they had been, what kind of family and other life did they have. I have always been interested in history and all old items and places excites the mind of one dreaming of being a historian. When getting carried away adoring old things, I end up in this dream like bubble, where everything is blurry, more quiet and other life around it is just passing by. At those times I can be moved into tears, like last year in London was really working to hold it in, when I got to visit the ancient Egypt exhibition in British Museum. Still when thinking about it I start to tear up, it was incredibly effecting experience. I'm so grateful, that I got to experience it! ♥

Mulla oli sellainen visio tästä asusta, mihin sain inspiraatiota viktoriaanisista ja edwardian ajan viboista, sekä eleganssista. Kuten usein muulloinkin, halusin pitää asun yksinkertaisena ja värimaailman simppelinä tai no oikeastaan olemattomana, koska kyseessä on musta ja hopean harmaa. Oli oikein ihanat leidi-fiilikset. Toivottavasti se näkyy myös teille. ♡

I had the kind of vision of this outfit, where I got inspiration from victorian and edwardian time vibes and elegance. Like most times, I wanted to keep the outfit simple and the colors moderate or well actually non-existence, because we're talking about black and silver grey. Had really nice lady vibes. Hope you can see it too. ♡

Hei ihanaiset 🌼

Mukavaa syksyn alkua ja tsemppiä kaikille opiskelunsa alottaneille! ♡

Ennen ilmojen viilentymistä ehdittiin käydä ihanalla iltapäiväkävelyllä puutarhamökki alueella ihastelemassa kukkia ja ottamassa kuvia suloisen Museum of Fairy mekon kanssa, merkiltä Long Ears and Sharp Ears' Studio. Olen ihan ihastunut tähän kangaspalojen yhdistelmään, se on kokonaisuudessaan todella söpö ja tummempi punainen ja vaaleanpunainen luovat yhdessä kauniin kontrastisen kokonaisuuden. Mitä enemmän mekkoa katsoo, sitä enemmän löytää siitä yksityiskohtia. Printti on uskomattoman tarkasti tehty ja tykkään tutkailla sitä itsekseni. Tyttärenkin kanssa ollaan yhdessä katsottu mitä kaikkea siinä on. Monta koordinaatiota jo mielessä. (◠‿◠)

Before the weather got colder, we had a chance to go for a lovely afternoon stroll in this garden cottage area admiring flowers and taking pictures with my adorable Museum of Fairy dress, from the brand Long Ears and Sharp Ears' Studio. I'm totally in love with it. In it's entirety the dress is really cute and the darker red and light pink create a beautiful contrasting bigger picture together. The more one looks at the dress, the more they can find details from it. The print is amazingly detailed and well done, really like to explore it by myself. We've been looking all the things we can find with my daughter as well. Got already many coordinations in mind. (◠‿◠)

Paikassa oli upea tunnelma, oli arkipäivä ja hieman hiljaista. Monet olivat palanneet jo arkeen. Iäkkäämpiä rouvia ja herroja vilahteli touhuamassa puutarhojensa kimpussa. Erään rouvan lepohetkeä mehujen tekemiseltä kävin häiritsemässä kohteliaasti oveen koputtamalla, että sain kysyttyä saisimmeko kuvata hänen mökkinsä kauniissa pihassa. Tämä ja eräs toinenkin mökin omistaja antoivan mieluusti luvan ja saimme hyödyntää heidän ihania pihoja ja puutarhoja. Tuollaisessa paikassa oleminen sai tietenkin entistä enemmän haaveilemaan omasta puutarhamökistä, metsämökistä ja siitä ihan omasta talosta. Vielä jonain päivänä saan istuttaa hyötykasveja, koristella taloani ja hoitaa monenmoisia eläviä otuksia pihallani. ♥

The place had an amazing atmosphere, it was a weekday and a little bit quiet. Many had already returned to their everyday lives. Could see some older ladies and gentlemen working on their gardens. I went to disturb the rest break from making juice of this one lady by politely knocking on the door, so that I could ask if we could get her permission to take pictures on her beautiful yard. She and another lady gave us their blessings and we got to use their lovely yards and gardens. When being in a place like that of course made me dream even more than already did about a garden cottage, a cabin in the woods and that house of our very own. You'll see, some day I get to plant useful plants, decorate our house and take care of many kind of living creatures in our yard. ♥

Huomaatko kuinka mekossa on korea lintu, ruusuja, steampunk henkinen pupu ja silinteriä käyttävä kissa? Entäpä huomasitko suuren kellon edessä, kissan ja pupun muotoiset sydän-avainreiät? Näitkö kaikki pienet helmet ja kiehurat, entäpä steam-henkiset ruusut ja rataspyörät? Ihan muuten vaan en hehkuta tätä mekkoa, se on todellakin upea ja yksityiskohtainen! ♡

Yläosan vaaleanpunaisen osion saa myös halutessaan pois, jos vaikka paitaa olisi kiva saada enemmän näkyviin. Saan tästä mekosta oikeasti niin monta erilaista vibaa! Mahtavaa! :D

Tällä kertaa halusin hyödyntää mekon valkoisia osia ja yhdistellä niiden kanssa valkoista kesäistä röyhelöä. Bonuksena ihanasti mätsäävät Irregular Choisen kengät! Nämä ovat ensimmäinen parini mitä ostin ja nyt omistan jo neljät. ♡

Can you see the gorgeous details on the dress; the handsome bird, roses, steampunk styled bunny and a top hat wearing cat? How about the huge clock in the front, cat and bunny shaped heart-keyholes? Did you notice all the little pearls and twirly thingies, how about the steam-styled roses and wheels? I'm not hyping this dress just for the fun of it, it truly is gorgeous and detailed! ♡

The pink part from the top can be removed if wanted, for example if the blouse of the outfit is something that wants to be more visible. I'm really getting so many vibes from this dress! Awesome! :D

This time I wanted to make use of the white parts of the dress and combine white summer-like frills with them. As a bonus a lovely matching pair of shoes from Irregular Choice! These are the first pair I bought and now already owning four ones. ♡

Luulempa ettei ole yllätys ollenkaan se sellainen juttu, että ihastuin kahteen vaaleanpunaiseen mökkiin. Toinen oli kylmempi sävyinen, mutta paikassa oli hyvä energia, ja tämä minkä edessä kuvattiin, oli hieman lämpöisempi, vaikka pinkki on muutenkin kylmäsävyinen luonnostaan. Mökin omistaja tuli ihan kurkkaamaan, kun me kuvailtiin, oli oikein innoissaan meidän touhuista. Onneksi tulikin, sillä kuvaaja meinasi polttaa itsensä sellaiseen kasviin nimeltä Mooseksen palava pensas! Kukinnot olivat kasvista jo menneet, mutta se kaiketi polttaa vieläkin. Huh! Pelästyin jo ihan omistajan reaktiosta, että nyt pian tuhotaan jotain hyvin harvinaista kasvia ja sen lähelle ei saa mennä, mutta syy olikin ihmisen suojeleminen, ei kasvin. Siitä saa kuulemma ihan kunnon palovammat. Hui sentään. En haluaisi sellaista kasvia kyllä lähellekään pihaani, sellainen koheli kun olen, että varmasti siihen huitaisisin. x)

I think this one thing is not a surprise at all, the fact that I fell in love with two pink cottages. The other one had a colder tone of colour, but the place had a good energy and this one of which we took pictures in front of, was a bit warmer toned, even though pink is anyways a cold toned colour by nature. The owner of the cottage came to see us photoshooting, she was very excited about our doings. Luckily she came, because the photographer almost burned himself into this bush called The burning bush of Moses! The flowers had already withered away, but apparently it still burns. Huh! Got scared by the reaction of the lady, that we almost ruined some extremely sensitive rare plant and no one should go near it, but in fact the reason was to protect the person, not the plant. From what I heard, the plant will give actual burns. Oh damn. Would never want a plant like that anywhere near my yard, I'm such a person, that would surely hit my hand or leg or even face to it. x)

I do enjoy many things in every season, but during summertime I'm the most healthy and anyways I'm always cold, so I enjoy the warmth. My body is not build of cold and humid weather. Luckily there are beautiful colours in autumn before the greyness arrives, dark evenings, candles and Halloween!! ♥

Voi sitä hykertelyn määrää kun nämä tulivat paketissa! Palvelu oli jälleen kerran todella nopeaa ja ystävällistä. Kengät tuntuvat ensimmäisellä kerralla tosi korkeilta, sellainen mahtavan pitkä amazon nainen olo. Vähän jänskätin miten käy mun yliliikkuvien nivelten kanssa, mutta jos kokemusta on ylipäänsä korkokengistä, eivät nämä ole ongelma. Plattarin ansiosta korkokaan ei ole mikään liian hurja. Ulompaa remmiä säätämällä saa kengän istuvuutta säädettyä ja kunnon kumipohjassa on pitoa. Se fiilis kun kengät on upeat..hihii..ihan erilainen olla ja kävellä. ♥

Oh damn how nuts I was when these got out of the package! The service was really fast and friendly like last time. These days I value good customer service a lot, because you don't get that everywhere. The package itself arrived super quickly, think it was one day after shipping and the shoebox was wrapped in pink plastic bags. Details matter! :)

On the first time trying on they feel really high, the kind of tall amazon woman feeling. Was a little bit nervous how my ankles work when having hypermobility joints, but if there's any experience walking with heels, then these are not a problem. Because of the platform, the heel is not that very high. With the outer straps can adjust the fitting and there are proper rubber soles. The feeling when your shoes are just so gorgeous..hihii..it feels so different to walk and just be. ♥

Yleensä muoti-ilmiöt eivät ole sellaisia mistä pidän ja kaikki ylihehkutettu on jokseenkin luotaantyöntävää...mutta! Nyt on pinnalla jotain sellaista mistä olen aina tykännyt: Pastel Goth ja Nu Goth. Pastelli gootti on tyypillistä goottia sekoitettuna pastelliväriehin ja siihen voi myös yhdistää söpöjäkin asioita. Goottihan ei varsinaisesti aina ole pelkkää mustaa, gootti voi olla kokovaloistakin, mutta siitä pitää löytyä tyylin ominaispiirteet. Erityisesti pastelli hiukset ovat iso juttu. Nu gootti on taas enemmän saanut vaikutteita perinteistä goottiestetiikasta ja filosofiasta. Nu gootti on syvällistä ja tämän vuoksi asustukseen kuuluu usein symboliikkaa ja okkultismia. Nämä kaksi tyyliä ovat ihan omia juttujaan, mutta omaan tyypilliseen tapaani sekoittelen juttuja. 

Usually fashion trends are not something I like and everything overly hyped things are somewhat off-putting...but! Now there's something very in, that I've always liked: Pastel Goth and Nu Goth. Pastel goth is typical goth mixed pastel colours and there can be cute things combined. Gothic is not always only just black, goth style can be all white too, but there has to be found the basic features of the fashion. Especially pastel hair is a big thing. Nu goth has gotten influence from traditional gothic aesthetics and philosophy. Nu goth is deep and for this reason the outfits often include symbolic and occultism. These two styles are totally different from each other, but in my own typical way mixing up things.

Suhailtiin Pohjois-Hervannassa ottamassa kuvia ja häiriinnyttämässä ihmisiä mun tyylillä. Kuvattiin jopa suorassa auringonvalossa, mitä ei yleensä koskaan tehdä valokuvauksessa, etenkään ilman lisävaloja. Mun mielestä kuienkin sopii kivasti tähän tyyliin ja muutenkin haettiin vähän rubaaneja viboja täällä betoniviidakossa. 

We strolled around Northern Hervanta to take pictures and to disturb people with my style. We even photoshooted in the direct sunlight, which is usually never done in photography, especially without additional lighting. I think it fits in this style and we were anyways looking for some urban vibes in this concrete jungle.

~✿ DIY Straw hat decoration & Pastel country lolita ✿~

Moi murut ♡

Olen pitkään halunnut sellaisen tyypillisen lolita-tyylisen heinähatu, millaista käytetään usein kesäisissä asuissa ja etenkin country lolita -tyylin kanssa. Ne ovat mielestäni olleet jokseenkin hintavia tuommoiseksi yksinkertaiseksi heinähtauksi, joten se on aina jäänyt. Toissapäivänä löysin alennuksesta sellaisen hintaan 5€! No sehän lähti mukaan ja heti samana iltana aloin sitä koristelemaan. Ensin revin ja leikkasin mustan nauhan siitä pois ja aloin miettimään mitä siihen haluan laittaa. No kuten yleensä, suunnitelma muuttui matkan varrella. Piti tehdä tänne blogiin pieni hattu tutoriaali, mutta koska teinkin erilaisen, niin se nyt sitten jäi. Hattuun piti siis tulla myös tuusuja rusetin sivuille epäsymmetrisesti. Pidin kuitenkin yksinkertaisesta ja suloisesta tyylistä niin paljon, että se jäi toistaiseksi ilman kukkia. Röyhelöä hatun reunassa oli myös aluksi vain yksi kerros, mutta päätin laittaa lisää. ❀

I've been wanting to get a lolita-style straw hat for a long time, which is usually used with summer style outfits and especially with country loltia -style. In my opinion they have been somewhat pricey for a simple straw hat like that, so never gotten one. Day before yesterday I found one on sale priced 5€! Well I took it home with me and on the same evening started to decorate it. First I took off the black ribbon on it and started thinking what I want to put on it. Well like usually, the plan changes along the way. Was supposed to make a small hat tutorial here, but since I made it differently, the tutorial is not gonna happen. I was planning to place roses on each side of the bow asymmetrically. I liked it like this so much, simple and adorable, so for the time being it will remain without flowers. There was also only one layer of lace ruffles on the edge, but then decided to put more. ❀

Tuli laitettua myös mun itse tekemä kerrostettu kukkamekko pitkästä aikaa. Se on aina henkinyt hieman country -vibaa ja mun mielestä se sopi aika kivasti tähän. Kukkia ja pastellia. ♡

Asu ei ole ihan täysin ajateltu ja hiottu mielessä tai peilin edessä. Mulla oli jo vähän ajatusta siitä mitä laitan päälle hatun kanssa, mutta aamupäivästä laittautuminen ja lähteminen on aina vähän härdelliä silloin kun mun tytär on siinä vieressä. Äidithän ei tietenkään saa omaa rauhaa. Puin sitten tytönkin söpöön vaaleanpuna-valkoiseen asuun ja hän sai laitta kukkaklipsuja omaan neitimäiseen kesähattuunsa. ♡ ♡

Got to wear my selfmade tiered flower dress after a long time. Its has always had this country vibe to it and I think it fits this one nicely. Flowers and pastels. ♡

The outfit is not completely thought trough and polished in my mind or in front of the mirror. I had thought a little bit about what I was going to wear with the hat, but when dressing up in the forenoon and heading out is always quite the hassle when my daughter is next to me. Of course mommies never get any alone time. I dressed up my daughter in a cute pink-white outfit as well and she had my permission to put flower clips on her ladylike summer hat. ♡ ♡

I love this photo! ♡ It just has so many things I adore! Summer warmth, pink, cuteness, lolita, poofyness, lace, bows, curls and the overall feeling is just so ♡!

Syy kaupungille menoon oli käydä ihan parhaassa liikkessä nimeltä antikvariaatti Lukulaari. Kyseinen paikka on ihan mahtava! Aloin pitkästä aikaa lukemaan mun lemppari kirjasarjaa: Belgarionin taru. Se on fantasiatarina, missä on viisi osaa. David Eddings on yksi alansa parhaita ja luen nämä uudestaan aina silloin tällöin. Aiemmin omassa hyllyssä on ollut vain tuo ensimmäinen osa, mutta nyt päätin hamstrata loputkin osat ja kaikki löytyi! Wohoo! ♥

The whole reason for going to city center was to visit one of the best store called Lukulaari, a second hand bookshop. This place is amazing! After a while now I started to read my favourite book series: The Belgariad. It's a fantasy story, which has five parts. David Eddings is one of the best in his field and I read this again and again from time to time. Previously have had only the first part on my bookshelf, but now decided to hoard the rest and found them all! Wohoo! ♥
