Moi söpöläiset ^___^
En olekaan jakanut pitkään aikaan mitään bentojuttuja, mutta nyt on niin söpis uus juttu, että ihan pakko...kissanmuotoinen riisipallosetti!! :D
Riisipalloja, eli onigiriä, on tosi helppo tehdä tämmösillä muotiella ja saada niistä samalla söpö lisä bentoihin tai ihan kotiruokaan. Mun tyttö tykkää näistä tosi paljon ja pyytää aina mua tekeen ihan kananmunan puolikkaisiinkin merilevästä tehdyt silmät ja suun.

I haven't shared any bento thingies for a while, but now got such a cute new thing, that just have to..cat shaped riceball mold!! :DRiceballs, onigiris, is really easy to make with these molds and at the same time can get a really cute addition to bentos or just home cooking. My daughter likes these so much and always asks me to make a seaweed face to even egg halfs.

Kastele riisimuotti kylmällä vedellä, niin riisi ei tartu siihen niin paljoa kiinni.
Rinse the mold with cold water a bit, so the rice won't stick to it as much.

Täytä muotti riisillä ja paina takakannella, ota irti muottipidikkeestä ja irrota molemmat puolet.
Fill the mold with rice and press with the back cover, remove from the holder and remove both covers.
Laita nori-merilevää leikkuulaudan päälle ja paina haluamalla kuvalla. Joskus ostat ei meinaa tulla ihan irti ja niitä pitää tökkiä leikkurin välistä. Näitä kannattaa tehdä monta valmiiksi, että saa sitten koristeluta kaikki kerralla. :)
Put the nori-seaweed on top of the cutting board and press with the desired picture. Sometimes the parts don't wanna come off and have to poke them from the cutter. It's more handy to cut lots of these ready, so can decorate all at once. :)

Täyttämällä muottia vähän enemmän tai vähemmän, saa erikokoisia riisipalloja. Täyttövaiheessa voi laittaa myös täytettä keskelle, kuten kalaa, mutta me harvoin laitetaan, koska syödään yleensä sitten erikseen vielä jotain.

Me otettiin nää matkaevääksi ja piknikille, missä oli sitten myös kalaa ja makkaraa. Muuten meillä oliskin jotain protskusafkaa vielä rasiassa. Nyt toinen kerta ku teen noita kisupalloja, ne on kyl tosi söpöjä ja kivoja. Tykkään myös riisipallon koosta, se on aikas kätevän sopiva. Nomsnoms~
We took these as take away meal to eat on the bus and on a picnic, where there was also fish and sausages. Otherwise we would have some protein dish in the box as well. This was the second time making the kitty-riceballs, they are really cute and fun. I like the size too, it's quite convenient. Nomsnoms~
